The LIVE Intelligent Box is a local distributed node of the LIVE system, operating as a networked smart gateway or a fully autonomous standalone unit. It distributes central functions to local nodes for data distribution and load balancing — improving overall performance and scalability.
Core Capabilities
Manages connections to on-site devices (alarm controllers, access controllers, cameras).
Offline buffering: when the connection to the server drops, data is buffered locally and auto-uploaded on reconnect.
A single device supports up to 4 × 1080P network cameras with real-time stream forwarding.
Local buffering of alarm-associated video, retained for at least 48 hours.
Distributed fault tolerance: other nodes or the cloud take over on single-node failure.
Supports 4G / 5G and beyond for mobile uplink to LIVE platform servers.
* Suitable for chain stores and distributed offices needing centralised monitoring, and as a local communication node for large on-site systems.
